The Football Association of Japan informed the Football Association of Serbia today that, due to the current situation in the Middle East, it has decided to cancel the planned European tour of its U21 national team, and consequently the friendly match against Serbia, which was scheduled to be played on March 30 in Antalya.
The Serbian U21 national team, led by head coach Zoran Mirković, had planned two matches in Turkey during the March international window as part of preparations for the European Championship to be held in our country next year.
The first match against Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for March 26, remains on the schedule, while the Football Association of Serbia is working in the meantime to secure another international friendly in Antalya for the young national team, which would replace the canceled match against Japan.
