Located in Loznica in western Serbia, Lagator Stadium is one of the newest football stadiums in the country and part of Serbia’s modern sports infrastructure development.
Opened in 2023, the stadium quickly became an important venue for domestic competitions and international football matches.
Designed as a contemporary football-specific stadium, Lagator combines modern facilities, accessibility and a compact matchday atmosphere. With covered stands and
infrastructure built according to UEFA standards, the venue represents an important step in the development of football and sports tourism in western Serbia.
Despite being one of Serbia’s newest stadiums, Lagator has already hosted some of the country’s most important football events. The stadium was selected twice as the venue
for the Serbian Cup Final, welcoming capacity crowds and creating a vibrant football atmosphere that demonstrated Loznica’s ability to host major national events.
The stadium has also hosted matches involving Serbia’s national teams and other important domestic competitions, bringing high-level football closer to western Serbia. Its
modern design and close connection between supporters and the pitch create an intense and energetic experience on matchdays.
With a capacity of approximately 8,000 seats, Lagator Stadium has positioned Loznica as one of Serbia’s emerging football destinations. In recent years, improved road
infrastructure and new transport connections have significantly enhanced accessibility between Loznica and Belgrade, bringing western Serbia closer to the capital and making
the city more accessible for supporters and visitors travelling to tournament matches.
